PSI Ranked One of the 30 Most Innovative SMEs in Germany by WirtschaftsWoche

Berlin, 7 December 2017 – PSI Software AG has been ranked as 29th amongst the most innovative German SMEs by the business magazine WirtschaftsWoche. The PSI Group, specializing in software solutions for the optimization of energy and material flows has now won four awards for its innovativeness within a very short period of time.

Following on the awards “TOP Innovator 2016“ and “Best Logistics Brand 2017“ for the subsidiary PSI Logistics GmbH as well as the winning of the German Mobility Prize 2017 by the subsidiary PSI Mines&Roads GmbH, the WirtschaftsWoche has now recognized the innovative power and business dynamics of the entire company.

The WirtschaftsWoche has selected the 50 most innovative German SMEs for the fourth time and published the ranking in November 2017. To accomplish this, the magazine charged the Munich Strategy Group (MSG) consulting organization with the analysis of 3,500 companies in Germany and examined the financial statements and presentations and surveyed management, customers and competitors. From the data, MSG then determined a score based on the innovative power of the SMEs as well as that of their growth in sales and earnings.

On the basis of its own software products, PSI Group develops and integrates complete solutions for energy management (energy networks, energy trading), production management (mining, metals, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics) and infrastructure management for transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and employs 1,650 persons worldwide.
