Within the scope of this research project, PSI Energy Markets has developed key components for a new, integrated information and control concept for the energy industry.
Ongoing activities have led to the creation of new system components based on the existing PSImarket system.
By adding a modern, streamlined, Java-based SCADA system, PSImarket has become an innovative solution for virtual power plants and their integration into a comprehensive portfolio.
Users benefit from additional powerful components, which enable the effective support of new business models in energy trading and sales.
The option of stochastic optimisation ensures decision-making support and optimum portfolio management on the market.
PSI Energy Markets is one of the winners of the ‘E-Energy – ICT-based Energy System of the Future’ competition sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. Within the scope of this research project, PSI Energy Markets has been cooperating with other partners since December 2008 to develop the basis for a new, integrated information and control system concept for the energy industry.
