PSI Energy Markets GmbH has been operating in the energy industry for more than 30 years, being a subsidiary of PSI Software SE, the leading software supplier in Europe’s energy industry.
We offer standard software products for energy trading, risk management and sales, asset optimization and the revision of gas metering systems. Our services cover the entire lifecycle of an IT system, from implementation over long term maintenance, support, and SaaS.
PSI Energy Markets is represented at three locations in Germany and one location in Switzerland, and is available to customers from all over the world at any time.

In addition to numerous consulting projects, our company has implemented integrated solutions for numerous energy suppliers as well as trading and distribution companies. In addition to a variety of transregional electricity and gas suppliers, our customers include many regional distributors, munic-ipal utilities and producers.
Increasing globalization and the deregulation of the energy markets have sparked new challenges for the electricity and gas market and cross-division integration. We meet the challenges combining our industry expertise of many international projects in the field of consulting by producers, import, trading and grid companies.
The top priority for decisions-making and actions by PSI Energy Markets is: Doing the right things right that means to combine effectiveness and efficiency. PSI Energy Markets therefore decided in 2005 to implement the Quality Management System to ensure this fundamental principle at all levels. The certification within a repeat audit by TÜV-Bayern was made for the first time in 2006. Since then, we have been operating a QM system according to ISO 9001.
The secure and reliable handling of its own and external information, data and systems is essential for PSI Energy Markets, therefore, the quality management has been expanded by including infor-mation security management to form an integrated management system. In April 2018 the initial certification was completed in accordance with ISO-27001. Since then, we recertify every two years.
